Where is Xur and what is he selling this week, Oct. 7-11?

Each week, an exotic item merchant XurHangs out at random places around Destiny. You can find him in Destiny 2He can be found all around the world, and even inside the Tower. This week you will find Xur. The TowerHanging out on the back steps of the Hangar.

Xur’s inventory this week consists of the following:

• Two-tailed Fox, Void/Solar rocket launcher: 29, Legendary Shards
• Wormhusk Crown and Hunter Helm: 23 Legendary Shards
• ACD/0 Feedback fence, Titan legs 23 Legendary Shards
• Contraverse Hold, Warlock Gauntlets 23 Legendary Shards
• Exotic Engram: You can purchase an additional Exotic Cipher to get 97 Legendary Shards.
• Exotic Cipher quest: free

Season of the Risen The Witch Queen, Xur sells a random roll of both Hawkmoon and Dead Man’s Tale each week.

Here’s what he’s selling this weekend:

• Hawkmoon Kinetic hand gun (Opening shot): 125,000 Glimmer; 200 Legendary Shards; Exotic Cipher; Ascendant Shard
• Dead Man’s Tale, Kinetic scout rifle (Fourth Time’s the Charm): 125,000 Glimmer, 200 Legendary Shards, Exotic Cipher, Ascendant Shard

As of Season of the Lost, Xur also sells a collection of old armor and weapons — similar to Banshee-44 and Ada-1. These items can be difficult to find, and are often from years past. The cost of each item (armor or weapon) is only 1,000 Glimmer, and the 50 Legendary Shards are included.

Xur’s Legendary inventory this week consists of the following:

• True prophecy and Kinetic Hand Cannon
• Enigma’s Draw, Kinetic sidearm
• Escape Velocity, Kinetic Submachine Gun
• Seventh Seraph CQC-12, Solar shotgun

Xur’s items drop at a power level similar to that of your character.

Fox with two tailsAn Exotic rocket launcher was released in the Forsaken expansion. The primary perk is expansion Twintails, causes it to launch two rockets instead of one — both of which track targets. The secondary benefit is You can play with your preyOne rocket can deal with burning Solar damage while the other suppresses enemies with Void.

Two-Tailed Foxes are unique and fun to use. However, its effectiveness is dependent on the rocket launchers’ skills in any given season. Even then, you have better options. If you want an Exotic that’s fun to use but isn’t going to be a mainstay in your arsenal, grab Two-Tailed Fox from Xur this week.

Wormhusk Crown

Wormhusk CrownOne of the Campaign Exotics WarmindYou may have an excellent roll in 2018 so it is possible that you already have one. The Warmind campaign is over, so the best way to obtain a fresh roll this week is to purchase it at Xur. Exotic Perk: A Burning SoulAfter you dodging, it heals.

This helmet is very strong in the Crucible. If you’re a PvP player, you should pick this up.

ACD/0 Feedback Barrier

Titan Exotics have the ACD/0 Feedback Barrier. This gauntlet has the Exotic perk Fury conductorsMelee kills can build up energy. You can release energy when you are hit by a melee weapon. These gauntlets are very useful for the Crucible, as Feedback Fence received a boost earlier in the year. While there are plenty of other good Crucible options for Titans, don’t let these completely slip past your gaze.

Contra Hold

Contra HoldWarlock Exotics can be added to your order Forsaken. The Exotic Perk Chaotic ExchangerThis gives you bonus damage resistance and allows you to charge Void grenades. Each time you deal damage, charged grenade hit will return a random amount grenade energy. These powerful Void Warlock gauntlets are great! If randomness hasn’t been kind to you, pick these up!

Exotic Cipher quest

Beginning in Beyond LightXur now has a quest to find an Exotic Cipher. Exotic Cipher allows you to buy Exotics in old condition from the Monuments to Lost Light kiosk at the Tower. You’ll need these items and some other currencies to pick up Exotics like Heir Apparent and Truth.

This week, Xur is asking you to take 21 Strikes and win Crucible or Gambit matches. By finishing the quest, you’ll earn an Exotic Cipher to use however you want.
