The XurThe strange Exotic Item Seller and Agent of Nine is back in Destiny 2. Xur will bring you a variety of Exotics as well as a collection of old legendary armors and weapons to fill in any gaps.

The merchant is a character that appears in game every Friday from reset until the next week. He hangs around in various random places in the world. Destiny 2 — including inside the Tower.

Nezarec’s Sin

Nezarec’s Sin isn’t a particularly exciting Warlock Exotic, but it’s very good. This is the main advantage. Abyssal Extractors, which causes Void damage kills to recharge your ability energy — boring but effective. It includes damage done by your subclass, as well as from energy weapons or power weapons. You can get this helmet if your Voidwalker weapon or subclass is one you often use.

Exotic Cipher quest

Beginning in Beyond LightXur’s new quest is to get an Exotic Cipher. You can buy Exotics at the Monuments to Lost Light Kiosk in the Tower using the Exotic Cipher. You’ll need these items and some other currencies to pick up Exotics like Heir Apparent and Truth.

This week, Xur is asking you to win the Crucible or Gambit match or complete 21 strikes. By finishing the quest, you’ll earn an Exotic Cipher to use however you want.
