Where is Xur and what is he selling, Destiny 2, Aug. 12-16

Xur is the weekly Exotics item merchant and hangs out at random places around Destiny. You can also find In Destiny 2He is able to appear anywhere on the globe, including inside the Tower. This week you will find Xur. TowerHanging out at the back of the building Hangar.

Xur’s inventory this week consists of the following:

• Monte Carlo, Kinetic rifle with 29 legendary shards
• Mechaneer’s Tricksleeves23 Legendary Shards: – Hunter arms
• Antaeus Wards23 Legendary Shards: – Titan Legs
• Phoenix Protocol, Warlock Chest: 23 Legendary Shards
• Exotic Engram: You can purchase an additional Exotic Cipher to get a second one.
• Exotic Cipher quest: free

Season of the Risen The Witch Queen, Xur sells a random roll of both Hawkmoon and Dead Man’s Tale each week.

Here’s what he’s selling this weekend:

• HawkmoonThe Kinetic hand cannon is available (Snapshots): 125,000 Glimmer, 200 Legendary Shards, Exotic Cipher, Ascendant Shard

Xur has also started selling an old collection of armor and weapons similar to Ada-1, Banshee-44, and Ada-1. These items are usually difficult to locate and come from past seasons. Each item (whether it’s armor or weaponry) costs only 1,000 Glimmer and 50 Legendary Shards.

Xur’s Legendary inventory this week consists of the following:

• Lonesome sidearm with a Kinetic sidearm
• Seventh Seraph Carbine, Kinetic auto rifle
• Gridskipper, Void pulse gun
• The Kinetic shotgun, Toil and Trouble
• Truthteller: Void grenade launcher
• Interference, Arc grenade launcher
• Stars in Shadow and Solar pulse rifle
• Titan planetary armour set

Xur’s items drop at a power level similar to that of your character.

Monte Carlo

Monte CarloAn older Exotic auto gun from the original DestinyIn a rebirth of life Destiny 2 – Shadowkeep. Its Exotic primary perk is Monte Carlo MethodThe cooldown on your melee attack is reduced when you deal damage using Monte Carlo. It also gives you the opportunity to have your melee capability reset after a Monte Carlo killing. Monte Carlo’s secondary perk is the Markov Chain, which increases the gun’s damage after primary fire or melee kills. Markov Chain grants ammunition on melee kills.

Monte Carlo, a favorite auto rifle from the beginning, was beloved by all. Destiny, and it’s even better in Destiny 2. This gun is great for melee builds and feels amazing to shoot. For trolling around the universe, breaking space robots, and punching space rhinos, it’s the perfect companion.

Mechaneer’s Tricksleeves

The gauntlets can be worn as sidearms with the Exotic perk. Spring-loaded MountingSwapping to sidearms increases the arm’s ready-and-reload speed. If you’re wounded, it also increases the sidearm’s damage.

These gauntlets will increase the power of sidearms, which are extremely powerful right now. If you don’t have these yet, pick up them up this season.

Antaeus Wards

Antaeus WardsExotic from the Forsaken expansion. Your main perk? Reflective Vents. Antaeus Wards projects a shield ahead of you when you slide. All projectiles hitting the shield will reflect back to their owners. Super energy is gained for every deflection. The boots can be very powerful in the right circumstances, however, they are not as effective when there is a nerf.

Phoenix Protocol

Phoenix ProtocolA powerful Warlock chest piece. Forsaken. The Exotic Perk Battle-HearthThis causes Super Energy to be refunded by killings in the Well of Radiance. It is one the most powerful Warlock Exotics available in the game. If you’re doing any kind of activity that involves a lot of killing, you’ll almost always have your Well of Radiance up.

Exotic Cipher quest

Start in Beyond LightXur now has a quest to find an Exotic Cipher. Exotic Cipher allows you to buy Exotics in old condition from the Monuments to Lost Light kiosk at the Tower. You’ll need these items and some other currencies to pick up Exotics like Heir Apparent and Truth.

This week, Xur asks you to win Crucible and Gambit matches or complete 21 Strikes. By finishing the quest, you’ll earn an Exotic Cipher to use however you want.
