Xur’s inventory this week consists of the following:

• The Prospector Arc grenade launcher: 29, Legendary Shards
• Orpheus Rig: Hunter legs 23 Legendary Shards
• Doom Fang Pauldron and Titan Arms: 23 Legendary Shards
• Crown of Tempests, Warlock Helm: 23 Legendary Shards
• Exotic Engram: You can purchase an additional Exotic Cipher to get 97 Legendary Shards.
• Exotic Cipher quest: free

Season of the Risen The Witch Queen, Xur sells a random roll of both Hawkmoon and Dead Man’s Tale each week.

Here’s what he’s selling this weekend:

• Hawkmoon Kinetic Hand Cannon (Surplus), 125,000 Glimmer 200 Legendary Shards Exotic Cipher and Ascendant Shard
• Dead Man’s Tale, Kinetic scout rifle (Outlaw): 125,000 Glimmer, 200 Legendary Shards, Exotic Cipher, Ascendant Shard

As of Season of the Lost, Xur also sells a collection of old armor and weapons — similar to Banshee-44 and Ada-1. These items can be difficult to find, and are often from years past. The cost of each item (armor or weapon) is only 1,000 Glimmer, and the 50 Legendary Shards are included.

Xur’s Legendary inventory this week consists of the following:

• The Kinetic pulse gun and Cold Denial
• Gridskipper and Void pulse rifle
• Timelines’ Vertex, Solar fusion rifle
• IKELOS_SMG_V1.0.2, Arc submachine gun

Prospector

ProspectorThis is a strong grenade-launcher in PvE. This perk is: ExcavationYou can use the Launcher to detonate multiple grenades simultaneously. It is also fully auto-operable. Additionally, the grenades can stick to objects and inflict burn damage. The Prospector was once a top-rated PvE grenade gunner, but there are better alternatives. It’ll likely come back around, though, so if you don’t have it yet, pick it up.

Orpheus Rig

Orpheus Rig can be one of the most useful Exotics in the game, even if it’s been nerfed a few times. Its main perk, Uncanny ArrowsEach enemy tied with Shadowshot receives an additional amount of Super Energy. Moebius Quiver also has more shots. Orpheus Rig can help you quickly regenerate your Super Meter if you place a Hunter Super. You can use this in many different scenarios such as Nightfalls, Raids, and other endgames. These legs are essential if you want to be Nightstalker.

Doom Fang Pauldron

Doom Fang Pauldron is pretty cool if you’re into the Sentinel Titan. Exotic perk. Horns of Doom, causes shield bash kills to quickly recharge your shield throw while you’re using your Super. Melee ability kills provide extra Super energy and shield throw kills prolong the life of your Super. This arm is great for Sentinel Titans, thanks to the Void 3.0 upgrade.

Crown of Tempests

Crown of TempestsThis is an excellent Warlock Exotic, particularly if you love Stormcaller. This helmet’s main perk, Conduction TinesArc ability deaths to replenish your Arc capabilities and extend the life of your Stormtrance Super. If you don’t have this helmet for your Warlock, you should definitely consider picking it up.

Exotic Cipher quest

Start in Beyond LightXur now has a quest to find an Exotic Cipher. You can buy Exotics at the Monuments to Lost Light kiosk located in Tower with the Exotic Cipher. You’ll need these items and some other currencies to pick up Exotics like Heir Apparent and Truth.

This week, Xur asks you to win Crucible and Gambit matches or complete 21 Strikes. By finishing the quest, you’ll earn an Exotic Cipher to use however you want.
