Welcome to the Overwatch 2 Beta on Xbox

It’s our pleasure to welcome players to the Overwatch 2 beta!

Players on Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S will have the opportunity to join our beta test for the first time before Overwatch 2Launch officially on October 4. The beta includes a brand new Junker Queen tank hero, a map Rio and a Push game mode. A new, reimagined 5v5 format will be available to players.

We’ve shared a lot of information over the past few weeks – like how Overwatch 2 All players will get the game for free starting October 4. Here’s what you’ll get to experience within this beta and game launch later this year:

Junker Queen is a new hero

Junker Queen joins the Overwatch 2As the new tank hero, roster. As we saw in The Wastelander cinematic, the Scrapyard’s sovereign is fierce, resourceful, and no stranger to survival. And now, she’s come to claim her rightful throne.

The World is Changing

As the world expands, you can bring the battle to new places. You can travel the globe, enjoy breathtaking views, and fight on streets in iconic places like Monte Carlo and Rome. Rio offers a fun way to have fun, as a carnival-float crew moves through the club with Lucio DJs.

There are more game modes

The Push game mode has been introduced. Teams will compete for control of the robot in this new, symmetrical map format. They must start at a central point and push it towards their enemy base. This mode, which joins other modes in the game, will offer more goals to be captured, new strategies and hidden secrets.

We will grant beta access to all players who opt-in by July 14th. All players who have purchased the Overwatch 2: Watchpoint PackBeta access to the Xbox Store today will be given immediately
