Warhammer 40K: Boltgun revealed as a new Doom-inspired ’90s-era FPS

Warhammer 40,000 goes retro in a brand new, Doom-esque, ’90s-inspired first-person shooter, referred to as Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, which is coming to consoles and PC in 2023. Video games Workshop and Auroch Digital introduced their new House Marine “boomer shooter” on Wednesday on the Warhammer Skulls showcase, revealing a nostalgia-infused trailer for Boltgun.

Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun will put gamers into the armor of a House Marine on a “perilous mission throughout the galaxy,” blasting Chaos House Marines and daemons alongside the way in which. Pixels will fly within the blood-splattered, sprite-based shooter, which Video games Workshop describes as a “hardcore expertise” with “traditional, frenetic FPS gameplay.”

Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun is coming to Nintendo Change, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Home windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Collection X someday subsequent yr.
