Wargroove 2 Hits Switch And PC Next Month

Publisher Chucklefish and developer Robotality have both announced the release of Wargroove 2 next month. On October 5, the sequel is coming to Switch and PC, just a couple of months after the original Wargroove celebrated its fourth birthday.

Chucklefish revealed the Wargroove 2 launch date today during the Nintendo Direct. A new trailer showed off the beautiful pixel-art and turn-based gameplay of the game. This trailer highlighted new commanders, as well as a playable new faction and three interwoven campaigns in Wargroove 2.

Below you can see the Wargroove 2 trailer.

You can now see the Faahri Republic. Chucklefish describes them as “a nation consisting of curious mice who are on a scientific expedition in Aurania.”

“What the Faahri Republic lacks in military experience, they more than make up for with academic theory,” a press release reads. The mysterious crystal technology of Commanders Lytra Pistil and Rhomb will allow them to work in tandem as they seek information on their unknown benefactors.

Chucklefish also stated in their press release that Wargroove 2 will feature new recruits, veteran war dogs and new commanders. The Groove System has been updated to give commanders a boost. You can also play in multiplayer or co-op mode with three friends once you have completed the three Wargroove 2 campaign arcs.

Wargroove 2 preorders are available now on PC and Switch. Today, preorders on Steam and Nintendo Europe/North American eShops are 20% off. Full price for the game is $19.99.

Next month, on October 5, Wargroove 2, a Switch and PC game, will be released.
