V Rising Reaches 1.5 Million Copies Sold In Just Two Weeks

V Rising was launched on Steam Early Access May 17th, and has taken the game to great success. Stunlock Studios announced that V Rising has already sold more than 1.5 million copies within two weeks.

Stunlock doesn’t provide an exact sales number, but 1.5 million+ is a remarkable feat for a game technically in its infancy. V Rising is a popular Twitch game that has received strong reviews. The game puts you in the undead boots of a newly awakened vampire who must build their empire. The game is similar to Valheim in that players must explore the open world to find resources, either from nature or through pillaging villages. This will allow them to build a castle to become Dracula’s second coming. You can use your supernatural powers to defeat a variety of creatures. It is possible to play the game with friends, or you can do it alone. You can also attack other players’ castles in PvP.

V Rising, an Early Access title will receive regular updates and enhancements over the coming months. The game’s Steam page states that Stunlock hopes to launch the game in 1.0 within the next 12 months, barring any changes.
