HBO Max subscribers noticed that the page was forLast of UsHBO Series, A description of the show indicates that it debuts January 15, according to reports by Eurogamer. This publication states that this premiere date is only available to U.S. viewers. To confirm, I downloaded the HBO Max app from my phone and found it. You can see it in the screenshot below.
“A preview for the post-apocalyptic drama Series based on the highly acclaimed videogame” Last of Us: Season 1 Sneak Peek’s description reads. “Premieres Jan 15.”
It’s also consistent with the expectations of a HBO series. Subscription services don’t usually drop their shows in large quantities like Netflix. HBO maintains the same weekly release that standard television is used for. That the title says “The show’s premieres January 15” means the show will have new episodes. Last of UsEach week, episodes will be released. Episodes for HBO’s most popular shows usually release on Sunday nights, such as January 15. House of the Dragon. I bet that new episodes will drop every Sunday at 9 pm. ET. We will only know more in the future, but we do not have to wait any longer if HBO is accurate.
