UPDATE: Fortnite Chapter 2 Has Reached The End, Watch The Event Here

Current 12/4/21, 4:00 pm Central *SPOILERS AHEAD* Fortnite’s Chapter 2 finale titled “The End” has come and passed. The exciting finale featuring Jonesy, The Foundation is captured in the video. The island as we all know it has changed forever. Well, it’s still there, just flipped or rotated. In the meantime, we’re stranded in the ocean, left to await whatever adventures lie on the newly-inverted landmass, and what role The Foundation (now double confirmed to be Dwayne Johnson!) We will be moving forward.

Original Story Epic Games will be closing Fortnite’s 2nd chapter earlier than anticipated. The end of Fortnite’s second chapter will be at 4 pm ET on December 4. ET: The Cube Queen will wage war on all combatants on Island in “The End” a limited event.

You can only play this event once, so you will not be able again. Epic strongly recommends that content creators and players record the playthrough to ensure you can see it again.

You can queue up to 16 people at the End. Friends may meet up 30 minutes prior to the event. Epic announced this season’s end a day early. Players who log in between December 4th and December 5th will get a 225,000XP reward. The End event rewards players who participate with a theme loading screen and wrap. Epic will host a weekend of power-leveling with superchargedXP, which is open to all players from November 26 through 29 to assist them in completing the battle pass.

It is unknown what will happen next. Epic is likely to continue with Chapter 3 as well as a new theme. It is known that Boba Fett will join the game. There are also rumors that The Matrix may be present.
