Fortnitemares Returns to Fortnite! DJ Lyka can be found at the Reality Tree. You will have the opportunity to challenge the Cube Monsters of Zero Build Horde Rush. Also, you’ll find special Quests that offer in-game rewards. Fortnitemares 2022 is ending on November 1, 2018 at 02:01 ET. Be sure to get your Quests completed before then.

There’s also a rumor of a new foe who set up camp at Grim Gables… See if you can defeat him to obtain his Mythic weapon!  (You might want to bring your friends.

For your senses, be a good teacher

Be sure to visit some Alteration Altars during your wild raving adventures. You can find these Altars at the Reality Tree’s dance party, or scattered throughout the island. This Emote can be activated to grant the Howler Claws, which will allow you to free the beast from within.

Here’s a breakdown of your wolf abilities with the Howler Claws equipped:

Wolfscent helps you track your opponents

Howl to activate Wolfscent Ability. This ability allows you to find nearby enemies. This ability marks nearby enemies for a short time, before it enters a cooling down. Wolfscent will enter its cooling down period if no enemies are within the area. Enemies will be aware they’re being tracked, so stay true to your senses!

Get Rid of It

What’s a wolf without claws? With the new Slash Ability, you’ll be able to perform a ferocious four-combo melee attack.

Get Air Slashed

Your claws may also be used for the Air Slash Ability. This double-jump damages opponents when it lands.

The Horde should be released

Horde Rush returns… in Zero Build form! You and your team will take on hordes monsters in Zero Build Horde Rush. You can collect score multipliers and earn combos.

Fortnitemares is over, but zero Build Horde Rush will still be available. The November 15th update will cause a downtime of v22.40. After Fortnitemares ends, look out for Horde Rush Quests you can complete for a special in-game reward…

Seize Your Fortnitemares

You’ve learned about the upcoming Horde Rush Quests, but there are also general Fortnitemares Quests! These quests will take you to Fortnitemarish locations like Grim Gables. They also require you to use the unvaulted Candy or Pumpkin Launcher and you are challenged to have a good time. You will earn Fortnitemares Quests and get some delightful surprises.

In the span of 14 days, Fortnitemares Quests 2 will be available each day. For completing five, you’ll unlock the Everything’s End Glider. For completing 13, you’ll unlock the Chrome Cage Back Bling. And for completing 25, you’ll unlock the Unmaker Pickaxe. The Quests can be completed until Fortnitemares is over at 02:01 ET.

Fortnitemares are still coming

Keep the scares – and party – going. A challenge was issued to creators earlier this year: design islands around frights or delights. You can see our top map submissions in Discover during Fortnitemares 20,22.
