Ubisoft reboots troubled Prince of Persia: Sands of Time remake

Ubisoft’s remake of The Sands of Time: Prince of PersiaUbisoft Montreal has taken over the development of Ubisoft Pune, which was originally scheduled for 2021, but it’s been delayed several times. Sands of Time remake is now “currently in the conception phase,” according to a new developer Q&A and FAQ posted by Ubisoft on Wednesday.

Now, we’re building up the team, defining the priorities, putting prototypes together, testing elements, and looking at how we can include community feedback in the development as well. It’s still in an early stage, and players should not expect to hear more about the game this year, but rest assured that we’re all putting our strengths and heart into this project.”

It is important to note that the word “you” means “you”. The Sands of Time: Prince of PersiaUbisoft canceled all pre-orders for the remake and has not announced a date of release.

Ubisoft announces its Sands of TimeThe game is expected to be released on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One in early 2020. Ubisoft had to start from scratch after the original remake was delayed. Ubisoft is yet to announce which platforms will be used for the remake.
