Two Point Campus Delayed To August But Is Looking Promising

Two Point Campus, the next-generation sequel to Two Point Hospital has a new release date: August 9, for all platforms (PS5, Xbox Series X/S PS4, Xbox One Switch and PC). The original release date for the simulation game had been set for May 17. However, developers still need to wait to create campuses and offer diverse courses to ensure that students get the best out of college.

The game’s vision was also reiterated in a press release. “Our ambition from the start has been to release Two Point Campus across all PC and console platforms simultaneously to the quality and standard that our community expects from us,” said game director Mark Webley in the same press release. “This means we will need a little bit more time with Two Point Campus to make sure we deliver the best possible game that can be enjoyed equally on all platforms. These extra three months will be used to optimize Two Point Campus on all platforms.

Two Point Campus looked promising when we had a chance to play it. Two Point Campus has a very similar feel to its predecessor Two Point Hospital. But, the new items allow you to add your personal touch and make each campus unique. You can encourage students to explore friendships, and even romance by hosting mixers or putting them into areas that offer special items for socializing.

There’s also a great focus on listening to students’ needs and keeping them happy in various ways to ensure they bring in top marks. Perhaps they are looking for motivational posters or extra storage space in the library. The humorous still bent is alive and well, allowing you to offer courses like Virtual Normality, alongside themed campuses like a culinary-focused one. Did we mention there’s a campus teaching the best and the brightest in the art of Knighthood? Two Point Hospital is something I have put in a lot. Two Point Campus will offer more creative opportunities that inspire me to jump into the game when it launches on August 9.
