Turbo Golf Racing Tees Off Today for Xbox Game Preview and Game Pass

Three-and-ahalf years ago, Hugecalf Studios started working on an incredible car-golf-game. Since then, our team has grown a little (we’re now 12 strong!) Our game evolved into an ambitious and ever-expanding community-centric action racer. This game is Turbo Golf Racing, and I’m delighted to confirm that it’s out now via Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Preview.

If you haven’t yet experienced Turbo Golf Racing, it’s a fast-paced arcade-style sports game for up to eight players online, where players race down – or flip and glide over – twisting golf courses teeming with jumps and boost pads. Your goal is? Their goal is to put their ball before their opponents. We love to call Turbo Golf Racing a casually-competitive multiplayer game, which means it’s both welcoming and also embraces the chaos each race can bring.

Only the second beta saw over 11 million players hit more than 1 million missiles and strike more than 11.5 million balls. We also made several changes to accommodate feedback. While we’ve a fairway to go on our Game Preview journey, I can now reveal that across August, September, and October players will receive additional free updates to add brand new courses, cars, power cores, cosmetics, and even more. We’ll be sharing more details about each of these updates in the weeks ahead.

Unlock and equip Power Cores to get the edge on your opponents. You can hit your ball farther, fly faster, or have unique capabilities like ground stomping, gravitate ball, and roll. You can find the meta that will outwit all your friends with a variety of Power Cores.

You can choose the car that will make you stand out among the rest. There are many paint choices, you can change the wheels and spoiler or shield your car body, as well as boosters.

SEE THE SKIES
With wings, the sky’s your limit. Your Turbo engine car can take off into the sky and fly above the opposition. Glide over fans, fly through tunnels, chase your ball over terrain obstacles and around other cars.

TAKE ACTION ABOUT THE TERRAIN
Fly over and down the fairway, using the terrain as your advantage. Avoid the rocks and sand traps. You can bend your shot around trees or through canyons. Go for the green.
