TMNT graphic novel The Last Ronin is becoming a video game

The adaptation of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: A brand new style is being developed. The Last RoninThe 2020 graphic novel, titled ‘The Turtles,’ told a dark, futuristic tale about them.

As in the comic The Last RoninDoug Rosen, Paramount Global’s senior vice president for emerging media and games, said that the video game adaptation of the Ninja Turtles will take a darker approach to the character than the more colorful versions. In an interview with Polygon last week, Rosen likened the upcoming third-person action role-playing game to Sony’s recent God of War titles and said it will be authentic to the story of The Last RoninThe arc is an arch, where one turtle has not survived.

While other TMNT games, like last year’s Shredder’s Revenge, are typically about playing as all four turtles (and sometimes their allies Splinter, April O’Neil, and Casey Jones), The Last RoninThe game will be solely a one-character affair. Rosen suggested that flashback scenes could make it possible to play other characters, but the main action will be centered on the turtle who is still alive.

There was some mystery surrounding the identity of this one remaining Ninja Turtle. The Last RoninThe comic series was officially announced. The arc’s story was built around a Ninja Turtle who wore a black mask and fought using all four turtles’ signature weapons: nunchaku, sai, bo staff, and dual katanas. It wasn’t until the final pages of the first issue of The Last Ronin where the lone surviving turtle’s identity was revealed: Michelangelo. Mike seeks justice for the deaths of Master Splinter as well as all other turtles that were left by the Foot Clan.

IDW Publisher launched The Last RoninThe miniseries will run for five issues in 2020. Kevin Eastman wrote and illustrated the arc. It was based on an idea he had with Peter Laird, creator of TMNT in the 1980s.

Similar The Last Ronin comic book series, the video game will target an older audience, just like the recent collaboration with Call of Duty that brings Shredder to Activision’s shooter franchise. Rosen said there are opportunities for multiple TMNT games aimed at both young and more mature age groups, and that Paramount can take “multiple approaches [to the franchise], and not dial back to make the game something it shouldn’t be.”

The Last Ronin video game adaptation is being developed by an unnamed studio, and is likely a “few years off” from release, Rosen said. But like throwback beat-’em-up Shredder’s RevengeTribute Games and DotEmu developed the. Cowabunga Collection, developed by retro-game collection experts Digital Eclipse, Rosen said they’ve found the right partner to adapt The Last RoninIn an ambitious AAA videogame.

Rosen indicated that she expected more detail on the matter. The Last RoninThe Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will continue to be featured in video games in the future. Fans of the Ninja Turtles will soon be able to see their heroes in half shells in Roblox in the new Roblox game. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant MayhemA new animated feature film, “The Roblox Game” The Roblox game is being developed by Gamefam, the studio behind Sonic the Hedgehog’s Roblox outing, Sonic Speed Simulator.
