This Zelda-inspired Switch controller can glow in the dark

The hype is not limited to Nintendo. Tears of the Kingdom – The Legend of ZeldaNew Switch accessories. PDP was one of the third-party companies that launched new accessories just today. This $27.99 Rematch wireless controller is adorned with an attractive design. A silhouette of Link sits in the middle, surrounded by familiar Sheikah symbols. The blue outline around the controller will glow when exposed to light.

Outside of the design, the wired controller packs in some interesting features that you won’t find included with Nintendo’s pricier Switch Pro wireless controller. The controller has a headphone jack (you can control the volume on the controller), two back paddles that are customizable, as well as a texture to the grips. It’s not a bad value for the price, however it lacks rumble and amiibo support.

PDP made an $19.99 Travel Case to match the Switch, with a similar design and glowing in the dark. It’s called a “semi-hard” case, and its mesh pocket can carry a small amount of games and accessories. It can also be used to stand the Switch on the inside.

Both products are available now through PDP’s site, and the company told Polygon that other retailers will have these products in stock later this spring.
