This War Of Mine Sale Raises Relief Funds For The Ukrainian Red Cross
Russia has openly attacked and invaded Ukraine after weeks of mounting tensions between the two countries, with dozens of Ukrainian citizens reportedly killed by bombings. The world is watching this historic (and frightening) incident unfold. Now, there are efforts to aid the civilians who have been caught up in it. 11Bit Studios was behind the popular 2014 anti-war survival title, This War of Mine.
11Bit, a Polish studio, has announced it is heavily discounting This War of Mine, its expansion and console port The Little Ones, and its DLC across all platforms for the next week. The game is currently 75-8o% off, dropping it down to $4.99 on Steam and $3.99 on consoles. The Ukrainian Red Cross will receive 100 percent of all the proceeds from this sale. In This War of Mine, players oversee and care for a group of civilian survivors of a devastating conflict in a commentary of the horrors of war. You can read 11Bit’s full statement below.

Today, Ukraine is officially under the control of Russia’s Federation. We woke up to the sound of weapons firing and explosions, but our country is prepared to defend its independence and freedom, as it is strong and capable of defending itself. We don’t know what the future holds, but we believe in Ukraine and are confident of its armed forces.
