It starts out as a platform fight. It damages enemies, making them more vulnerable. Then you knock them out with one powerful blow. But this time it’s in a whole new dimension: A wholly unique, third-person, 3D perspective. stead of side-scrolling like it’s 1985, In DKO you’re 3D platforming, brawling in all three dimensions, and knocking your friends off the map to reign supreme.
In DKO, you’ll play as a small-but-mighty god of myth. You can hurl boulders as Hercules, swing Excalibur as King Arthur, or wield Mjolnir as Thor – just three of the 10 playable gods available at launch. Our Talent system allows you to customize the god that suits your needs. Specialize in helping your team or boost your own godly powers – the choice is yours.
Then you’ll journey across arenas pulled from the pantheons. However, be aware that these arenas are resilient. While some arenas crumble, others have deadly traps. Each arena features a new mechanic that you’ll have to master to win. Watch out for flying books in Merlin’s library!
You can have fun with your friends, or you want to play competitively. DKOYou have a place. It is best to play in the core 3v3 Arcade game mode. This allows you to travel across different arenas or modes such as Knockout and King of the Hill. It’s a blast for a game night, and with full cross-play and cross-progression you can party with friends regardless of platform. If you’re more hardcore, test your mettle in 1v1 or 2v2 Duels, played in smaller Arenas that encourage relentless combat.
