The Sailor Moon and Vans collaboration looks maximalist and cute as hell

When you’re feeling nostalgic for Nineteen Nineties anime, then I’ve good news: Van’s latest collaboration is with the Fairly Guardian Sailor Moon staff, and the outcomes are an absolute delight. The gathering shall be obtainable on June 10, and consists of all the pieces from slip-ons and Sk8-Hello footwear, to shirts, hoodies, and backpacks — and so they’re all decked out with our favourite Sailor Moon characters. That is considered one of two capsules popping out of the gathering; the second doesn’t but have a launch date.

A few of the designs on this capsule are extra refined, like Sailor Moon herself on a shirt and a cap. However most of what you’ll discover is completely maximalist or costume-y. There’s numerous tie-dye, patchwork print, and naturally, checkerboard, combined in with illustrations of the Sailor Guardians, Luna the cat, and Tuxedo Man. One lengthy sleeve shirt particularly even appears like a Sailor Guardian outfit. The footwear are equally maximalist, decked out with a mixture of stills from Sailor Moon alongside Vans traditional checkerboard. The gathering consists of gadgets for girls, males, and youngsters.
