Ranch of Rivershine is a horse simulator game in the works from Éloïse Laroche and Cozy Bee Games. The game doesn’t have a release date, but a new trailer showed off plenty of gameplay. The game will allow players to ride and groom their horses. There’s no release window yet, but players can check out progress on this game, and the studio’s other work on Laroche’s Twitter account.

Make a mushroom house, and then take pictures

Shroomchitect is an adorable building game where you get to design mushroom-themed homes for forest spirits, from developer Punkcake Délicieux. It features a cute, chunky, pixelated artwork style and a low-fi soundtrack. You can create blocks by blocks in the home editor. This makes it seem like an easy time. Frog Adventures

Each week I seem to manage to discover a new frog-related game. Many small independent developers are embracing frogs as a popular theme. The game is called Frog Island: TimeIt allows you to have an adventurous trip with frogs. In a videoAs a character explores the outer world, a bunch of tadpoles are following him. We don’t know how the tadpoles survive out of the water, but it sure looks cute. According to the developer, Half Past Yellow, the game is coming “soon” to Windows PC via Steam.

Alpine chicken Alpine chicken

No, this isn’t some name for a chicken recipe. It’s a game where you shred the slopes as a chicken. It’s called Slopecrashers and it’s being developed by the studio Byteparrot. New gameplay videos show a chicken doing tricks on a mountaintop, such as 360-degree front flips and cruising down the hill. The Steam page states that the game will be available in Winter 2022. Get out of the creeping confines of your room!

Although there’s a trend of horror games inspired by the 3D polygonal style of the PlayStation 1 era, not every developer is following those trends. Atelier QDB’s DecarnationThe horror is captured in 2D pixels. The most striking thing about the film was the way the body tendrils in the space seemed to be creeping up on the protagonist. Described by the developer as a “retro mindfuck horror adventure,” Decarnation will supposedly be a “story rich” horror game.
