The Morbius movie is being delayed to April

Already 2022 is off to an awful start. MorbiusThe premiere of the Spider-Man sequel starring Jared Leto has been pushed back to April 1st.

It feels like a prank and the April 1st premiere will be a 3 month wait after a delay. FiveTimes (It was originally set for July 10, 2020). This is due to the fact that MorbiusIt will be available and ready for the public to watch it almost immediately. Two years by the time it is finally released — if it is in fact released — is almost too much to bear.

Jared Leto is the most ardent fan of Morbius the Living Vampire (do the math, they did), and the least ardent fan of 30 Seconds to Mars. MorbiusMy cinematic yin/yang confluence is what this represents. I have all of my negative and positive energies focused on one Spider-Man film, which has potential strange connections to the budding Spider-Man movie-verse. I don’t particularly care for these connections. I would like to see them, sure, but I am primarily interested in how the film will portray the paradoxical plight of a “living” vampire through the performance of one of the least predictable stars in Hollywood. After seeing the film, it is quite certain that I will attain something like enlightenment. I will be at peace with others and myself, and I will stop reading my Twitter. Search for Lost Time.

MorbiusLike VenomBefore it is, there was an ever-rarer breed of movie: A blockbuster franchise with the potential to accept whatever bizarre sensibility its filmmakers choose. This does not mean that it will feature stuff as great and bizarre as Tom Hardy leaping into the lobster tank. Venom?But it’s true! It is possible. Might. It’s got Jared Leto! Have you seen him? House of Gucci? He’s pretty much Waluigi in that movie! Sky’s the limit, baby.

You can, of course. MorbiusThis could make things a bit more complicated. Unfortunately, for us all, the solution is sitting on our Sony Pictures hard drives, not on movie theaters and streaming platforms where we can adore it or be affectionately memed. You can have both.
