The Mageseeker: A League Of Legends Story Gets April Release Date

Riot Games revealed last month that it would release three League of Legends video games this year. These include The Mageseeker: An League of Legends story. The company announced today that The Mageseeker would be available on consoles as well as PC in the next month. 

The Mageseeker, specifically, will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC. The digital version will retail for $29.99 and includes the Lost Silverwing bonus. Digital Deluxe Edition is also available for purchase at $39.99. This edition includes exclusive spells and digital products such as the Silverwing Supply Station Pack, Home Sweet Home cave decorations and unchained skins.

According to a press release, “The Mageseeker was developed by Digital Sun (creators of Moonlighter), and is an action-RPG that uses 2D pixels to create gritty 2D graphics. It takes place in Demacia which, while trying to curb what it considers forbidden magic, can also use magic to keep order.” Play as Sylas the escaped mage, who is joined by a group of rebels deep in the forest. Their revolution will shatter Damcai’s deceptive peace – a peace built with the blood and sweat of mages. For those who want to live a fantasy story about power, identity and justice, The Mageseeker is a thrilling, action-packed gaming experience. 

Riot Games announced today that it will sell a Collector’s Edition physical copy of the game at $169.99. It includes a Sylas statue, an art book, a deluxe art print, the Lux Comic (special edition hardcover), Sylas & Lux enamel pins, and a vinyl soundtrack. The box contains all of these items in an exceptional custom box.
