The Lord of the Rings: Gollum trailer shows a Hobbit tormented from all sides

The Lord of the RingsGollumIt is scheduled to launch later in 2023. The film will examine the thoughts and madness that corrupted Hobbit Smeagol during the period between the loss of the One Ring, and the events in 2023. The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.

We see Gollum working alongside and against two forces in the search for the Ring, including the young Gandalf as well as an emissary to the evil lord Sauron. It’s a heavy lift to make Smeagol/Gollum a sympathetic figure, but that’s where this narrative appears to be headed.

The Lord of the Rings – Gollum It was originally announced in 2019 and was due in September 2022. However, Daedalic Entertainment delayed the announcement in July.

While Nacon hasn’t given 2023 as a release window, Nacon PR did inform investors in January that they would be launching the action-adventure sometime between April and Sept 2023.
