The Intense and Minimalistic Action of Flat Heroes Lands on Xbox Today

Hello everyone! We are Parallel Circles — a massively small studio — and our very first game on Xbox is available now.

These past few years have been quite a ride. After working as AAA developers for some time, we made the decision to create something completely new. Parallel Circles was our indie studio. We started work on Parallel Circles’ dream project. It is a platforming game that has tight controls, a great game feel, and can be enjoyed alone or with friends.

Then what? Flat Heroes? Flat HeroesThis is a simple game where a handful of minimalistic heroes must survive waves after waves of changing enemies. It’s intense and fast-paced. And it’s a lot of fun. It is especially fun if you’re playing with friends. We can guarantee that there will be much shouting and challenge. There are many obstacles to overcome.

Since this is our tiny studio’s very first game, we tried to include everything we like in games ourselves. Our dream game would be described through the gameplay. Flat Heroes. It’s also jam-packed with content: different single player and multiplayer modes, over 300 handcrafted levels and many epic boss battles, versus modes, and even infinite levels to prove your skills and add your scores in the leaderboards. It’s a gamer’s dream.

Up to this point, it’s been a uniquely thrilling experience to found our very own studio, making a game we are passionate about, showing it to people around the world at events and festivals and getting so much great and constructive feedback. Seeing how people react so positively to something you’ve made has been magical to us, so we wanted to bring it to as many players as possible. This is why we’ve decided to bring it to Xbox and its loving fan base very soon.

We know, finally, before you forget Flat Heroes is hard to imagine with just words and images of minimalistic cubes jumping around, so we’ve put together a free demo for you to try by yourself or with some friends and see if it’s up your alley!
