The Game Awards 2022: Big Winners, World Exclusive Reveals, and More From the Premiere Video Game Awards Show

The Game Awards, which took place earlier tonight, showcased the technical and creative excellence in the videogame industry. Geoff Keighley, host, hosted it and had guest presenters such as Rahul Kohli (Halsey), Keegan–Michael Key and many more. This was a great event that allowed us all to celebrate everything gaming.

This evening’s show honored a unique group of game developers, celebrated players, and recognized excellence with many awards being handed out in categories like Game of the Year, Best Sim/Strategy Game, Best Action/Adventure Game, Best Sports/Racing Game, and others. Xbox was grateful for the opportunity to be there. Dusk Falls Games for Impact Nominated and awarded the Innovation in Accessibility Award Starfield For the Most Awaited Game.

Premiere gameplay unveiling Dune: Awakening
It was amazing to see the scale of this event. Dune: Awakening In a first-of-its kind reveal. The new gameplay trailer showcased the open world survival MMO taking place within the rich universe of Frank Herbert’s Dune, where players can look forward to searching for water, building shelters to withstand deadly storms, and battle for control of spice on the planet Arrakis. Retro futuristic Sci-Fi platformer Replacing Coming to Game Pass 2023
Thunderful and Coatsink made the hard decision earlier this year to delay their wedding. Replacing. Sad Cat Studios was able to regroup after the announcement and restart work on their game. Tonight, the team shared a glimpse of what they’ve been up to with a brand-new trailer that took a closer look at the game’s world, combat, and music. The Crash Team Rumble is Announced

The success of the narrative RPG has been a great inspiration Vampyr, Focus Entertainment and Don’t Nod revealed a new collaboration tonight to bring one of their most ambitious projects to date with the announcement of Ghosts of New Eden are banished. You are ready to have some fun Party Animals Game Pass available in 2023 and beyond

Enter a ‘90s action movie with Crime Boss: Rockay City
505 Games showcased Crime Boss Rockay City. This organized crime game centers on Travis Baker (Michael Madsen), who seeks to take Rockay City’s underworld throne. The game features a series turf wars and robberies as well side stories. It can be played solo or with your friends. The game also looks to be channeling ‘90s action movies by landing a stellar cast that includes Michael Rooker, Kim Basinger, Danny Glover, Damion Poitier, Danny Trejo, and Vanilla Ice (what?!) New Hellboy game revealed
The Game Awards will reveal tonight’s winners Hellboy Web of WyrdThis is an action-adventure rogue-lite game. It was created by Dark Horse Comics in collaboration with Mike Mignola, creator. You can expect to engage in a lot of toe-to toe fighting to defeat a variety of terrifying enemies. You can see the trailer below.

Meet Your MakerConstruction begins in spring 2023
Meet Your MakerWith its Spring 2023 launch, Behaviour Interactive is almost ready to give away the keys to its postapocalyptic wasteland. This building-and-raiding video game will entirely be driven by user-generated content. Behaviour Interactive has created a unique FPS experience that is not standard. Instead of creating a generic FPS experience for players, it offers a toolbox full blocks, traps and guards to allow them to make their own and compete with each other. Modern Warfare II – Call of DutyRaid Episode 1 – Coming December 14
Raid, which will be making its debut in the UK tonight, was our first chance to see it. Modern Warfare IIMid-season will start on December 14th.  To successfully penetrate a secret submarine dock between the borders of Al Mazrah and Urzikstan, a team of three will be required to collaborate as one.
