The Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters Will Finally Hit PlayStation And Switch Next Year
Square Enix’s Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters were announced in June last year. Each of these remasters arrived on PC over the course of eight months. Square Enix finally revealed the console versions of all six Final Fantasy pixel remasters. Fans have waited since then.
In particular, the pixel remasters are expected to arrive on Switch and PlayStation 4 in spring 2023. You can purchase each of the games individually or in a combination. Additionally, a limited-edition physical edition will be made available simultaneously. Let’s take a look at the contents of this collection. Final Fantasy I-VI Pixel Edit: FF 35th Anniversary Edition:
- Final Fantasy I-VI Collection- Physical collection of all Final Fantasy games on either the PS4 or Nintendo Switch
- Anniversary Edition box
- Bonus lenticular sleeves for game packages
- 2-disc vinyl set featuring freshly arranged music, and cover art created by Kazuko Shubuya
- This artbook is a collection of beautiful character-pixel art.
- In window packaging, eight characters representing stylized pixels art are included
Only available on Square Enix Store, this edition is sold out. You can still join the waiting list.
According to the company, there will be a small run of standard physical editions [of the collection]Square Enix Store exclusively will sell them from spring 2023,” however, they note that the stock is limited so you need to preorder.
