The Final Content Pack For Sniper Elite 5, Kraken Awakes, Is Available Today

Sniper 5 is now complete. Here’s our final update of Sniper 5 intel. Today marks the launch of Kraken Awakes, the final content pack for Season Pass 2 (more on that later), and we hope you’ve had as much fun making mincemeat of the Nazis as we have had making the game.

It’s been just over 13 months since the game originally launched and in that time you Soldiers have been busy. You obliterated nearly 6 million testicles, perfected over 250 million headshots, and invaded each other’s game more than 5 million times and counting.

We at Rebellion were all delighted by the response the game got when it was released in May of last year. Since then, we’ve been hard at work reading and listening your feedback. We are able to make improvements in the game by using feedback from our players.

Studio prides itself on the level of expertise and knowledge within the community. This is especially true when it comes to the recreation of the World War 2 settings, weapons, uniforms, vehicles, etc.

Accessibility is an area that we have been focusing on. Our games will now include new features like field-of-depth sliders. Although we have a lot to do, we’re on the right track.

We would like to thank everyone that has taken the time to play Sniper Elite 5, whether you are a seasoned veteran of the franchise, or this is your first time looking down Karl’s virtual scope. If you still haven’t tried the game, it is still available now on Game Pass so be sure to check it out and let us know what you think. Season Pass One & Two contain a lot of content including missions.

Kraken Awakes has been released as the final drop of Season Pass Two.

The pack includes a brand-new mission launched where our hero, Karl Fairburne, is sent to a military dock which is housing an under-construction aircraft carrier – the new home of Operation Kraken.

You will need to take advantage of the darkness to avoid the launch. You will also need to put an end to the new leader of the scheme, Friedrich Vogel, the former deputy to Abelard Möller.

This pack includes the American Airborne skin for Karl, a Mod.712 gun and the Patriot weapon.

We are launching, in addition to the Kraken Awakes Pack, a brand new multiplayer map that is available for all players at no cost. Abandoned Quarry is a great place for stealthy or action-oriented play.

Exploring the coal processing centre, you will find a number of hiding spots and vantage points that provide excellent sniping sights across the entire map. Check out the Multiplayer mode in solo or team play.

ADVANCED GUNNPLAY PHYSICS & TRAVERSAL
Ziplines are a great way to get to the best vantage points or sneak by a watchful eye. As you align your sights to the target, take into account gravity, wind, and heart rate as well.

HIGH CALIBRE CUSTOMISE
Use workbenches to customise and upgrade virtually every aspect of your weapon – change scopes, stocks, barrels, magazines and more. There are many options for rifles, secondary weapons and pistols. Other than that, you can choose from a wide range of ammo depending on your targets. From armour piercing to non-lethal.

INVASION MODE – CAMPAIGN DROP IN PvP AND CO-OP
Invade another player’s Campaign as an Axis sniper and engage in a deadly game of cat and mouse, providing a new dimension to the challenge as you stalk your prey. As Karl, you can also call in a second shooter to assist you when you are stuck.

TENSE ADVERSAL MULTIPLLAYER
You can customise and upgrade your character, load out and gain XP and medals by taking part in intense 16-player battles. This will test your shooting skills. If co-op’s more your style, you can team up with up to 3 other players against waves of enemies in Survival mode.

ENHANCED KILL CAM
The trademark Xray kill camera returns to show you how powerful each shot is. The bones deflect bullets in an unpredictable way, cutting a different path through enemies’ bodies. Kill cams are also triggered by SMGs or pistols. They can include multiple shots, in slow-motion.
