The dog in love with Henry Cavill went to the Witcher premiere

The world is full of beautiful things.

The premiere was a great time for a French bulldog. The Witcher Season 3 will be on the air Wednesday. “Rory the Frenchie” as she’s known on TikTok is, obviously, a huge Henry Cavill stan. Netflix got us all in a trap when they invited the dog to the premiere, and made sure that there were cameras at each step. I’m not prepared to be cynical about this. This dog is adorable and other animals should do step-and-repeats.

Rory, the Frenchie has become a viral sensation if you’re in TikTok’s algorithmic lanes that serve up nerdy fantasy videos and pet videos watching television and making funny faces. Owner Heather Land’s account for the French bulldog boasts over 388,000 followers, who tune in on the regular to watch Rory cosplay and thirst over Henry Cavill — specifically as his character Geralt of Rivia from The Witcher. Land first discovered her furry friend’s fandom for Geralt during a rewatch in late 2022. When Cavill popped on screen, the normally chill dog flipped, and has been documented wagging her tail over the actor’s visage ever since.

Netflix took advantage of the TikTok audience and flew Land Rory to the premier to enjoy the benefits. In reality, what really counts is the amount of gold that paparazzi took during the triumphant entry. I’ve never felt happier about a dog.

It is unclear from the documents whether Rory met Cavill, and melted into a pool of dog. The signs point towards no, even though Cavill is known to be a dog lover. Cavill lost a French Bulldog named Meat in April. However, he brought a new French bulldog named Baggins to his home in June. Dog lovers must love themHenry Cavill. Cavill has not met his biggest fan, based on TikTok posts and photos from events. Here’s how close they were that night.

Rory probably did not have a big crush but I believe that by going to the premier in the first instance, the dog served society well.
