The Boys’ college spinoff series gets an official title: Gen V

Amazon Studios’ new live-action spinoff of The BoysTitled, the series was created at an American college for young-adult superheroes. Gen V, named after the series’ Supe serum, the streamer revealed Friday. This cast is college-aged. Gen V made the announcement on social media.

Gen V is an “irreverent, R-rated series that explores the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test,” according to Amazon. No doubt romantic relationships and rivalries will factor into the show’s conflicts as much as its wannabe superheroes competing for Vought International-backed contracts. Gen Vwas discussed previously under the name Varsity: The Boys Presents.

New series features Chance Perdomo and Jaz Sinclair as well as Lizze Broadway’s Shelley Conn, Maddie Phillips, London Thor and Derek Luh.

Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas will be the showrunners. Gen V. Eric Kripke is also executive producer.

The BoysPrime Video has just finished season 3. Season 4 of this hyperviolent superhero humor was just released. confirmed in June.
