The best PC mods to download in 2021

Whether it’s a fresh coat of paint to an old game or the addition of an entirely new game mode, mods are sometimes just as big as the original games they build upon. Fans should reflect upon the most notable mods that were created in the past year as they draw to a close.

ModDB’s annual roundup, which celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2022 in ModDB, was released Monday. It included the top mods that were released between 2021 and 2022. The awards are voted on by the website’s readers; The top 10 includes mods for games like Doom 2 (1994) Half-Life (1998), with a mod for Piranha Bytes’ 2003 action RPG Gothic 2: Night of the Raven The winning prize.
