The Adam Project sends Ryan Reynolds back in time to save the future with his past self

Coming off the momentum of last year’s No cost to the GuyRyan Reynolds and Shawn Levy, director of Shawn Levy have teamed up again The Adam ProjectNetflix will release a Sci-Fi action drama called “The Coming-of-Age Drama” next month.
Reynolds plays Adam Reed alongside Walker Scobell. He is a thirteen-year-old boy who receives a visit from a future-travelling fighter pilot. His mission? To save the world from the danger of uninhibited, time travel. As counter-intuitive as that mission might sound on its face, future Adam’s goal seems to directly involve a confrontation with his late father (Mark Ruffalo), who passed away shortly before Adam’s visit to his past self.

Why Adam needs to team up with his 13-year-old self is yet unclear, but what is clear from the first teaser trailer released by Netflix is that he is not alone; battling time-hopping combatants with a retractable, lightsaber-esque bo staff alongside a laser-shooting ally played by Zoe Saldaña.
Reynolds’ last Netflix project, the globe-trotting action heist comedy Red NoticeGal Gadot and Dwayne Johnson starred in the movie. The original premiered on last year’s service as the best, making it the top-rated original. The streamer then approved two sequels to the film.
The Adam ProjectOn March 11, Netflix will release the film.
