Tears of the Kingdom’s trailer hides a monster from the first Zelda
Tears of the Kingdom: Zelda’s Legend got a new trailer last week, and it’s got a little hidden secret. Insidiously, the trailer introduced a new enemy. It’s a multi-headed dragon called a Gleeok and it’s been around since the first Zelda game.
Although the shot looks foggy at first, you will see the monster about 31 seconds later. This video features a huge stone bridge that spans a vast body of water. You can see the large creature at the right end of the bridge if you pay attention. The creature appears to be three-headed, with each head glowing with fire. This is a screencap.
The monster’s design strongly suggest the return of the Gleeok. These monsters were first seen in Zelda’s original Zelda games. It was a multiheaded green dragon with fire-spinning heads. In the Legend of Zelda, it was a mini boss. Link may attack the monsters enough times to make their heads fall off and continue attacking him.

We still don’t have a whole lot of information about Tears from the Kingdom. We’ve seen some of Link’s new powers and also his new ride, but details like this help us understand more about Hyrule and help fans develop theories for the game.
