Taylor Swift directing full-length feature film based on her own script
Hold onto your scarves, Taylor Swift fans — the singer-songwriter is set to make her feature film directorial debut with Searchlight Pictures, reports Variety. Swift will direct the film, which is yet to be named.
Swift, in addition to being the greatest-selling musician of all time has also directed numerous music videos. Her first solo-directed music video was “The Man,” which came out with 2019’s Lovers. Last year, she directed a short film based on the 10-minute version of her critically acclaimed song “All Too Well.” It’s All Too Well: A Short Film Stars Stranger Things’ Sadie Sink and Teen Wolf’s Dylan O’Brien as a couple in a doomed relationship. It was screened at 2022 Tribeca Film Festival, and it is up for Oscar nomination. Recently, she directed videos for the 2022 album. Midnight. Swift is the current solo artist with two MTV VMAs best direction awards. Swift was also an acting part in minor parts. Valentine’s Day, CatsAnd Amsterdam.
