System Shock Remake Launches On PC This May

Nightdive Studios’ long-awaited remake of System Shock finally has a release date, at least for PC. This reimagined classic will be available on May 30.

System Shock, which was due to be released this month, is delayed by this announcement. The Steam version of the game is available for $39.99 and The Epic Store and GOG, respectively, while Xbox and PlayStation versions are still to be released at an unknown date.

System Shock is in production in one form or another since 2016 when it was first launched as a crowdfunded project to revitalize the 1994 classic. The remake overhauls the adventure with modernized graphics and controls, a redesigned UI, and more, but the villainous A.I. SHODAN’s original voice actor is still performing the role.
