Super Mario Bros. Wonder Nintendo Direct Airs This Week

In a Nintendo Direct dedicated to Super Mario Bros. Wonder, an in-depth review of the game will be presented this week. This presentation will air on 31 August.

The Direct begins at 7am PT/10am ET. ET the Direct will run for about 15 minutes and, hopefully, peel the curtain back on Wonder’s new features and power-ups. Wonder Flower transforms the stages in Wonder into trippy versions, complete with mind-bending visual effects. More than anything, however, we’re excited to see more of Mario’s new elephant transformation as well as the elephant versions of his friends.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder will be the new 2D sidescroller game in this legendary series. Mario joins Luigi and Luigi’s friends Peach, Toad Yoshi Daisy, Toad Toad Toad in a four-player adventure. This game will launch for Switch on 20th October. Recently, it was revealed that Charles Martinet has retired as Mario’s voice actor and will not be voicing Mario in Wonder.
