Super Bomberman R 2 Introduces Chaotic 16-Player Asymmetric Multiplayer Mode

Konami’s Super Bomberman R 2 has been announced. This is the successor to Super Bomberman R on Switch. Additionally, the announcement included a glimpse of a promising new mode called Castle Mode and a release window.

A team of 15 must work together to blast their way across the battlefield in the multiplayer asymmetric Castle Mode. A single player attempts to keep them away. In addition to what seems like an endless stream of action, players have the ability to create and share battle scenes for this mode. This increases the replayability of the new type of play.

In 2017, the launch of Super Bomberman R was heavily criticised by me for its poor performance on networks, frustrating levels design and a lackluster content. The title has been improved over time through many updates. In addition, it is now available for Switch and Xbox. The development team has learned from the mistakes made with Super Bomberman R 2 to deliver a better product when it launches. Castle Mode seems like an enjoyable experience, so I am hopeful. Super Bomberman R 2 is coming in 2023.
