Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Delayed To February
Following recent rumors it wouldn’t be making its May 26th release, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League was delayed until next year.
Now, the co-op superhero shooter will launch on February 2, 2024. Developer Rocksteady posted a short message on Twitter stating it wants to “take the time needed” to ensure the best possible experience. You can see it below.

The difficult but essential decision was made to invest the necessary time in making the game a great experience. We are grateful to the amazing community who have shown their patience, support and understanding. We have much more to tell in the coming months and look forward to meeting you next year in Metropolis.
Kill the Justice League: Suicide Squad puts you in Harley Quinn’s shoes. Deadshot and Captain Boomerang are assisting them to defend Metropolis against an attack by Brainiac. To save Earth, the Squad must take out the Justice League’s most powerful protectors. The game has received a hefty dose of fan vitriol since its last gameplay demonstration in February confirmed an always-online requirement as well as live service elements, such as a cosmetics-only battle pass. Some fans find the game’s cooperative loot-based shoot to be uninspired.
If Bloomberg originally reported this delay as a rumor last month, sources told them Rocksteady was doing so only to add further polish and did not plan to overhaul the game’s existing framework. It’s unknown if that’s still the case; this is almost a year-long delay, which is quite a lot of time. It will be interesting to see what Rocksteady has to say about Suicide Squad.
