Street Fighter 6 Release Date Set For June
Street Fighter 6 now has an official release date. Capcom has announced the release date for Street Fighter 6 on June 2, hot on the heels a second beta testing announcement and retailer leaks. We also received details and a trailer for the Deluxe Edition.
Street Fighter 6 will launch with new innovations such as live commentary, multiple control strategies, and World Tour mode. From iconic characters like Ryu Ken, Chun Li, Blanka, and Blanka, the base game features 18 characters. The complete list can be found here.
A new trailer showcased the World Tour mode. It allows you to personalize your avatar, travel around the world, including the US and France. Dee Jay, one of the previously revealed characters, was shown off in the new trailer.
An earlier leak on Amazon also revealed Street Fighter 6’s Deluxe Edition, which includes the base game, the Year 1 Character Pass featuring four characters, colors 3 through 10 of each Year 1 character, and a bonus 4,200 Drive Tickets for in-game purchases.
For our latest cover story, we flew to Osaka Japan. We were impressed by the vision of Capcom and the extended time that we spent with the game.
