Stray’s Garfield mod is here, without lasagna

This is what the principal character of StrayAn orange tabby cat that is curious and ends up helping the world. Garfield, a mod that turns the orange tabby cat protagonist into the iconic orange tabby cat of all time is no surprise.

Nexus Mods user crubino posted a new mod to replace the default cat. It allows the feline to love lasagna and hate Mondays. The preview images show off Garfield with his signature half-lidded expression in the cyberpunk, post-apocalyptic world of Stray, and it’s pretty dang funny. Thankfully, this mod comes without Chris Pratt’s voice. This mod also includes lasagna. Garfield is a pretty pampered cat, so he’s probably not having a great time in the world of Stray.

Mods are being created by developers in the last few months. Stray that give the main kitty various makeovers — usually modeled after the modders’ own pets or requests from other players. Many are designed to look just like the deceased kitties, so their memories can be preserved in digital form.
