Stranger Things play heads to London in 2023, Netflix announces
Netflix revealed today that it has an official Stranger Things Play on the stage Stranger Things: First ShadowIn London, a new restaurant called ‘The Observer’ will be open by the end of 2023.
The First ShadowThis is the prequel series to The Hit Series, and it takes place in Hawkins in 1950s. Here’s the blurb from the press release:

Kate Trefry is a Netflix staff writer. She adapted a story from Trefry and Ross Duffer, the show’s creators (commonly referred to simply as the Duffer brothers), along with Jack Thorne, the British playwright. Harry Potter and Cursed Child. Its world premiere will be at the Phoenix Theatre in London’s West End, and it’s directed by Stephen Daldry (best known for the West End, Broadway, and film productions of Billy ElliotJustin Martin co-directs the show. Justin Martin was recently a theatre star in London for his production of Prima Facie starring Jodie Comer.
The First Shadow possesses an impressive creative team with deep roots in London and the UK. There’s no casting news yet, however.
