Before diving into this latest installment, let me take the time to look back at its predecessors to see how they have influenced the year ahead. SteamWorld Build. I’ve been with the series since the very beginning, all the way back in 2010 when SteamWorld Tower Defensewas made public. Here’s a brief overview of my genre-switching journey. SteamWorldTo re-emphasize the best of what? SteamWorldHow can you expect to continue this in? SteamWorld BuildLater in the year SteamWorld is a universe that we’ve purposely cultivated to give us the creative freedom to take in any direction we want. We try to distill the essence of each genre and add our unique spin to give it a new feel.

This leads us onto the game I know you’ve all been eagerly waiting to hear about: SteamWorld Build! We’re again taking SteamWorldIn a new direction. We fuse our favorite steam-fuelled robots to the city builder genre. You will manage your city from above, as well as dig down to find materials. This game allows you to optimize and control the resource chain so that your city flourishes. The case of SteamWorld BuildYou have many different mine levels that you can explore. You will face more risks as each level yields more resources. Guards will have to contend with large bugs and creepy crawlies as well as other dangers.

It’s all there. SteamWorldIn the past titles, we demonstrated how it was possible to provide a simple entry point for new players to an intricate genre while still preserving the rich strategic content that has been enjoyed by the more experienced gamers. That’s a key part of the SteamWorldWe are doing it again! SteamWorld Build. We have made this game for consoles from the beginning. This story is open to both newcomers as well as genre-devotees. It will take the steambots into dark and dangerous places and help them escape the earth.
