Start Exploring The Long Dark: Tales from the Far Territory on Xbox Today

Hinterland will launch its new website today. Stories from the Far TerritoryXbox’s Survival Mode Expansion pass includes the very first paid content in its survival mode. The Long Dark. This update includes two incredible content drops – Part One: Forsaken AirfieldAnd Part II: Signal Void.

Begin your Far Territory adventure with Part One: Forsaken Airfield. Discover a new Airfield Region with a large, cold plain and an airport equipped with hangars, a Control Tower and other mysteries. Glimmer fog and Insomnia Affliction are to be avoided. Search for Rifle Variants for the latest Insomnia Affliction. Part II: Signal Void introduces the first “Tale”, offering Survival Mode players new objectives to follow while weaving in compelling narrative elements. Use the Handheld Shortwave and Transponder to explore the Tale and find hidden caches and crash sites. Sign off also introduces three new clothing items – a Hockey Jersey, a leather Flight Jacket, and a matching Aviator Hat. You’ll find them scattered around Great Bear as you explore locations and search containers. Be alert, Survivors… you might even discover a few surprise items that can only be found using the Handheld Shortwave.

Stories from the Far TerritoryOver the 12 month campaign, players will be able to continue receiving multiple updates. These include new regions and new gameplay. All-new, objective-based Tales. For those who have Survival Edition, every Part will include free updates.
