Star Wars Jedi: Survivor patch 7 brings 60 fps update to PS5, Xbox

Respawn Entertainment will be releasing a major update for Star Wars Jedi SurvivorA patch to fix bugs and issues with performance was released on Tuesday. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions of the game can now run at a “solid 60 fps in Performance mode,” according to Respawn and publisher Electronic Arts.

On PC, Respawn says it’s delivering “additional performance [and] optimization improvements,” including support for Nvidia’s DLSS technology, but did not provide further specifics. This may disappoint PC players who complained in Steam reviews for months about slow performance, frame drop, and crashes. Jedi: Survivor. Star Wars Jedi Survivor Patch 7 Details

This patch contains the following fixes:

• This patch introduces several performance-related improvements* on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S including:
  The performance mode was completely overhauled in order to improve the player’s experience.
  A number of GPU and CPU optimizations – along with disabling Ray Tracing – has resulted in a better player experience, including a solid 60 FPS in Performance mode.
  Quality Mode was also optimized in order to improve visuals and reduce fluctuation of FPS.
• Support for Variable Refresh rate added to PS5.
• Additional performance & optimization improvements for PC, including DLSS support.
• Saving system tweaks can help to prevent game corruption.
• Fixes issues that prevented players from regaining their XP when they died in certain situations.
• Various crash fixes.
• Various bug fixes & improvements across all platforms, including fixes for cloth, lighting, and UI.
