Stalker 2: Heart Of Chornobyl Returns With A Bang In New Gameplay Trailer
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl will still be released sometime in the next year. GSC Game World’s first trailer has been unveiled after six months. It showcases gameplay and some narrative elements.
Thanks to IGNThe new video shows S.T.A.L.K.E.R. The sequel 2 looks pretty good. This narrative-driven shooter takes place in the Chornobyl Exclusion zone, a world that is populated with dangerous mutant monsters. Players must fight their way to the heart of the zone while steering the non-linear plot through choice-driven gameplay.
Formally confirmed in 2020 after years of start and stop announcements, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. The history of 2 is turbulent. After announcing and quickly canceling NFT plans due to fan backlash in December 2021, the project came to a screeching halt in February due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, where GSC is based. Many employees were forced to evacuate their homes in Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital. Others chose to defend their city. One of GSC’s designers who volunteered to fight, Vladimir “Fresh” Yezhov, was recently killed in combat.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl will be available on Xbox Series X/S, including Game Pass in 2023. This was just one of many games that were bitten by delay bugs and it has been pushed to next year. You can see the complete list here.
