Spider-Man Swings Into Action In Marvel’s Avengers Cinematic Trailer

After revealing Spider-Man’s design ahead of his debut in Marvel’s Avengers, we now get our first look at him in action, albeit in cinematic fashion. IGN premiered the trailer for the wall-crawler’s upcoming Hero Event on November 30, which will be exclusive to the PlayStation versions of the game.

Crystal Dynamics is feared to ruin Spidey’s character, but this trailer confirms that Spidey still has his charmingly quirky sense of humor. (Including a Mortal Kombat reference). It remains to be seen how Spider-Man’s powers translate into gameplay given there’s no in-game footage. Hopefully, that reveal will come sooner than later given how close we are to Pete’s arrival. 

Spider-Man joins the fray via the Hero Event “With Great Power”. He’ll team up with the Avengers to take on AIM and thwart a mysterious new threat. There’s no indication of how big or long the event is, but it will be free to PS5 and PS4 players. A major update is also available for players on other platforms. It adds a four-player raid and an increase in power levels. You can find more information here.
