Spider-Man 2 PS5 pre-order: buy the console or the new accessories

Pre-orders of the hot new Spider-Man 2Sony has launched a limited edition PS5 and its themed accessories. The special PS5 consoles and accessories are now available through Sony. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 for the PlayStation 5 doesn’t launch until Oct. 20, the console and the rest of the goodies are set to launch on Sept. 1. As for what makes it special, just look at it; this PlayStation 5’s removable plates and DualSense controller have a unique color treatment that blends Spidey’s signature red with a venomous black consuming it.

It comes with a Digital Code for the Game of Thrones. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2The voucher can be used to redeem the bonus items once the game is launched in October. Pre-orders of the Special Edition console can only be made through PlayStation Direct. We’ll update this post if other retailers add stock. Other than the fancy, new console covers and the controller, this is the same PS5 hardware that’s been available for the past few years now.

Console covers, both standard and digital versions of PS5, as well as a special edition controller are all available to pre-order. Faceplates are $64.99 while the controller is $79.99. The standalone products will be shipped on September 1, along with the console.
