Souldiers Gets May Release Date, Coming To PlayStation And Xbox

Souldiers, a retro-inspired action-game that takes inspiration from Metroid with a few Dark Souls touches, is promising. We now know it’s arriving this May and that it’s hitting PlayStation and Xbox platforms in addition to Switch and PC.

Souldiers launches May 19. It combines Soulslike combat with RPG classes, progression and side-scrolling Metroid style exploration in a blender. This promises to create a challenging and fun adventure. The characters can take on the role of caster, archer or scout, and are customizable with various skill trees. To be able to defeat bosses and enemies, you must know when and how to attack, dodge and parry. Outside of battle, you’ll solve environmental puzzles to unlock new areas of the vibrant, interconnected world. 

Souldiers comes to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 4. Xbox One, Switch, Switch, as well. Thanks to a free Steam demo, you can find out if it’s up your alley right now.
