Soryotanog ShrineIt is situated within Tears of the Kingdom – The Legend of Zelda’s Gerudo Desert, specifically in (or on top of) Gerudo Town.

Soryotanog is located at the very top of Gerudo Town, and you’ll have to use AscendYou’ll meet people who will help you get to your destination. You’ll meet Riju A cutscene will be played if you stand in front of the fortress. This allows you to see where the shrine can be found. (It’s the tall rock structures.) Climb the stairs to the right of Riju and make your way into what looks to be her bedroom — her diary is on a desk. To move up the ceiling you can use the Ascend button.

Soryotanog Shrine Walkthrough

Soryotanog ShrineFans and mirrors are used in the puzzles. Fans are used to navigate and remove sand that has accumulated on key pieces, whereas mirrors can be necessary to re-direct light in order to unlock a gate. The mirrors are used to redirect light in order to open a locked gate. Buried LightPuzzle name now makes sense, right?

1. Enter the first chamber by moving forward. Use UltrahandPull the fan from the pile of sand at the right-hand corner.

2. The fan will blow the sand away if you activate it.

3. Grab your fan and move it towards the piles of dirt on the right side of the space.

4. Blowing away the sand heaps will reveal a Treasure Chest.

5. To retrieve the contents of a chest, open it. The small key.

6. Open the door with the key on the left-hand wall of the room near the sand heap where the fan came from.

7. Bring your fan into the room. Straight ahead, there’s another pile of sand with an object lodged in there. To get there, you’ll have to fight a Construct. Drop the fan and fight first before continuing.

8. Grab your fans and move to the right of the room. This will help you clear a second sand heap. It’ll reveal a small opening. Drop the fan, and go in.

9. Inside, there’s another pile of sand and another fan. Grab the fans using UltrahandAnd clear up the piles. There’s a Construct in one of them.

10. Take the Dropped Items after you defeat the Construct. Fan Guster.

11. The fan should be placed on the floor so that the air is blowing upwards toward the edge. It will glide you up the floor.

12. Fan Guster can be used to blow the sand away from the cogwheel.

13. The cogwheel will activate once it’s cleared. Once the cogwheel is cleared, a gate will be opened. Treasure ChestInside, there are 10 arrows.

14. Return to the same room and enter the secret entrance you used. You’re now back in the chamber where you fought the Construct.

15. Look up toward the other side of the room and you’ll see a ledge. Use AscendYou can reach the second floor by using that ledge.

16. The next room is down the hall. There’s a Construct On the elevated platform at the rear of the room. It must be defeated.

17. Remove the sand.

18. You’ll clear a beam of light and a mirror device. Place the mirror on the top of the source of light under the overhanging platform.

19. Rotate the mirror so it’s pointing in the direction of the previous room.

20. Use Ascend if you want to go back to the same platform from which you entered and then glide to the opposite chamber.

21. Grab the mirror from the ground using UltrahandPlace it in the light beam.

22. Unlock the gate by pointing the mirror towards the orange lock above the door.

23. Complete the shrine by entering the gate, examining the sigil and receiving the Light of Blessing.
