Sony State of Play March 2022 Watch Along With Game Informer

Sony has confirmed that another State of Play is being made available online. The whole thing will also be streamed live by Game Informer. Game Informer will be live streaming the latest demo, including all major news and gameplay, starting at 3:45 PM CT.

The exciting event will last for 20 minutes. But, who is there? It’s obvious that Alex Stadnik or Alex Van Aken will be hosting the event. Watch The Council of Alexes on-demand 15 minutes prior to the event, and hear their hopes and dreams about what they hope you’ll see during today’s State of Play.

Sony has not yet revealed what you’ll see, besides a particular region of the world. The PlayStation blog stated that today’s program will feature a “special focus on the great games coming out of some of our favourite Japanese publishers” but would also include updates from other developers from around the globe. 

There are many possibilities for today if you look at the tea leaves. Capcom said that Resident Evil Village was released last year. However, fans will be able to expect more adventures through DLC. The iconic series of zombies has shared an association with Sony consoles over the years. It seems appropriate that the next stage in the series could be on a digital Sony stage. Square Enix is also close to PlayStation, and could have many games on the show. Game Informer’s latest cover article, Forspoken, was unveiled during the PlayStation 5 demo. This could allow for some filling of 20 minutes. Square games: It’s been almost a year since Final Fantasy XVI was released. If the game is going to launch this year, then it would make a fitting return during today’s State of Play.
