Sony Reveals PlayStation VR2 Release Date, Price, Bundle, And New Games

Sony has announced the launch of PlayStation VR2 on February 22, and revealed its pricing, bundles, and accessories. 

You can purchase the standard package at $549.99. This includes the headset, stereo headphones, and two PS VR 2 sense controls. 

You can get the PlayStation VR2 Frontier Call of the Mountain bundle if you are looking for something that you can play straight out of the box. The edition is available for purchase starting at $599.99You will need to add a digital code in order for Horizon’s first spin-off.

Sony claims that pre-orders will go live November 15th. You can pre-order only through the online shop direct.playstation.comThe US, UK France, Germany Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg. Register to Pre-Order now. Orders placed through the online shop will ship during the launch week. In the meantime, PS VR2 will be available at your local retail store for customers from other markets. 

Additionally, eleven new PS VR2 titles were unveiled. The PlayStation Blog has detailed information about all 11 titles. However, here is a short description of each game and the release window. 

• The Fall – a post-apocalyptic co-op shooter by the studio behind Arizona Sunshine (2023).
• Cities VR – Enhanced Edition – an improved version of the VR edition of Cities: Skylines (Feb. 22).
• Cosmonious HighRestore an alien high school with this bizarre adventure title by the creators of Job Simulator. 
• Crossfire: Sierra Squad – A new VR first-person shooter the Crossfire franchise (2023). 
• Switchback VR: The Dark Pictures – a rollercoaster VR horror action shooter by Supermassive Games (TBA).
• Search and Rescue for Hello Neighbor – Team with friends to free a captive friend in this VR take on Hello Neighbor (TBA).
• Jurassic World Aftermath Collection – An enhanced bundle of Parts 1 and 2 of the Jurassic Park survival action game. (2023). 
• The Light Brigade – a roguelike first-person shooter with procedurally generated levels (TBA). 
• Pistol whip – the acclaimed rhythm action game is enhanced for PS VR2, and will be a free upgrade to existing owners (TBA).
• Tentacular – Solving physics-based puzzles as a giant, adorable Kraken (TBA). 
• Zenith: The Last City – aVR MMORPG (Feb 22)
